What is a Read Only user?
A Read
Only user is a facility in your CcDrive that allows you to give
someone else access to your files without letting them change or
delete them. It is an extra way to get access to your account on
CcDrive, but one which keeps your files secure. Give out your Read
Only user id to people you want to have access to your files, but
dont trust them enough to allow them full access. For instance,
you may have some important sales spreadsheets that you wish to
share with a number of clients. If you give them your normal user
id and password, they can not only see your files but they can modify
or delete them as well! If instead you give them the Read Only user
id and password, then your files can be downloaded, but not altered
or deleted. Your clients get access to the data, and you keep your
files secure.
